This is a healthier way to eat as this version is made with aquafaba! 🥰🍫 Aquafaba is the liquid from legumes like chickpeas. It mimics the properties of egg whites and can be used in things like baked goodies, from meringues to dips, like vegan mayo. 😋🙌
🌟To make this even healthier, leave out the sugar or use coconut or date sugar instead🌟
Vegan Chocolate Mousse
✨ I N G R E D I E N T S ✨
•1 can reserved chickpea water (aquafaba)
•½ cup dark (vegan) chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
•2 tablespoons of sugar (optional: use coconut sugar or Date sugar for healthier option)
•1 teaspoon vanilla
✨ I N S T R U C T I O N S ✨
In a medium-sized bowl, beat aquafaba until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold in melted chocolate, sugar, and vanilla, being careful not to over-mix.
Distribute mousse into 3 cups and chill for at least 3 hours, ideally overnight.
Garnish with fresh strawberries or fruit of choice.
